Performance Management System

For the past five years, a medium-sized telecommunications company (annual revenues: $10 million) has handled its human resource needs in-house. Like many organizations it uses performance management to monitor employee performance and make pay decisions. Recently, however, the company has decided to revamp their system to allow for more adequately addressing talent management issues such as identifying training needs and developing leadership talent.

You are a well-respected human resources consultant with particular expertise in designing and implementing effective human resource performance management services. In a 4-6 page paper, discuss the process that this company should follow to maximize its performance management systems. Include a discussion of the purposes of performance management, the five criteria for effective performance management systems, and your rationale for the recommendations you make.

Imagine that you are a consultant for a Fortune 100 company. You are tasked with developing a top-notch mentoring program for star employees. Final Paper: Analysis Of HR Practices

Write a 12-15 page paper (not including APA formatted cover page and References section) that analyzes the recruiting practices, training structure, and overall HR strategies at Starbucks Coffee Company. How do these components relate to the overall success of the company and its globalization efforts? Next, compare the HR strategy at Starbucks to that of a competitor. Highlight key differences and the impact of these differences on respective company performance. Incorporate at least six peer-reviewed citations in your research.

The Research Paper:

Must be double-spaced, meet specified page length, and formatted according to APA style as outlined in the approved APA style guide.

Must include an APA style cover page.

Must include an introductory paragraph with a succinct thesis statement.

Must address the topic of the paper with critical thought.

Must conclude with a restatement of the thesis and a conclusion paragraph.

Must use APA style as outlined in the approved APA style guide to document all sources.

Must include a reference page that is completed according to APA style as outlined in the approved APA style guide.
